About this Volunteer Opportunity

Drowning is a leading cause of death in children. Make a difference in your community by assisting with or providing instruction in Water Safety and learn to swim classes. Volunteers are need to: assist with regular swim lessons, assist during “The World’s Largest Swim Lesson” and other events.

 

Requirements

  • The desire to teach/work with children in a swimming classes
  • The ability to assist instruction to students on areas of water safety and swimming.
  • intermediate to strong swimming ability
  • The ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
  • The ability to pass a background check.
  • Ability to work in the water and heat.
