Community Events Overview

Welcome to the City of West Palm Beach Community Events Division! Join us for good times, great entertainment and lots of FREE family fun in downtown West Palm Beach!

Hosted by WPB Marketing and Community Events Manager Mary Pinak, What's Up West Palm! is a weekly segment highlighting free events in downtown West Palm Beach.

Our beautiful city provides a spectacular backdrop for a variety of award-winning events that entertain and delight people of all ages and from all walks of life.

A recipient of more than 290 international, national and regional awards for innovative programming over the years, the Community Events Division is responsible for every detail of hundreds of events in West Palm Beach each year.  Award-winning events include the weekly Thursday night concert series, Clematis by Night, the popular West Palm Beach GreenMarket, Sunday on the Waterfront, Screen on the Green, Sandi Land as part of Holiday in Paradise, and  4th on Flagler as part of Summer in Paradise.   With all the exciting events and activities, it’s easy to see why we live in paradise! In addition to creating and programming popular weekly and monthly events, we also play the important role of making sure the great events that come to West Palm Beach have all the proper permits to operate safely and effectively.

Are you looking for a stunning venue to hold your special event? Located along the Lake Worth Lagoon on South Flagler Drive, the Lake Pavilion provides a lovely indoor setting with access to a beautiful outdoor terrace. Click here for more information.
