City of West Palm Beach Announces Community Budget Workshops
Mayor Jeri Muoio and City Commissioners invite West Palm Beach residents and members of the public to participate in a series of Community Budget Workshops.
WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (June 23, 2017)—Mayor Jeri Muoio and City Commissioners invite West Palm Beach residents and members of the public to participate in a series of Community Budget Workshops. The City is holding the workshops to be transparent about the budget process, to let the public know how their tax dollars are being spent, and to give the public an opportunity to make recommendations about the City’s 2017-2018 budget.

The workshops will be hosted by Mayor Muoio, Chief Financial Officer Mark Parks, and Budget Manager Linda McDermott. They will be held in each of the City’s five districts:
·    July 24, 2017, 6:00 PM; Fire Station #3, 5050 Broadway (District 1)
·    July 26, 2017, 6:00 PM; Fire Station #5, 500 N. Congress (District 2)
·    July 27, 2017, 6:00 PM; Flagler Gallery at City Hall (District 3)
·    August 1, 2017, 6:00 PM; Fire Station #7, 8011 Okeechobee Blvd (District 4)
·    August 2, 2017, 6:00PM; Location TBA in the Northwest (District 3)
·    August 3, 2017, 6:00 PM; Fire Station #2, 4301 S. Dixie Highway (District 5)
