Q? Where can I use my card?
A. All parking meters in the City of West Palm Beach accept the card.

Q? How do I use the card in the meter?
A. A diagonal slot is located on each meter just left of the coin slot. The card is inserted into this slot with the City Logo on top. The meter will show you how much money is left of the card, then it will begin to reduce the amount on the card by $.25 increments. DON’T FORGET TO REMOVE THE CARD WHEN YOU HAVE REGISTERED THE DESIRED AMOUNT OF TIME.

Q? When the card has depleted, can I put more money on the card?
A. Yes, cards can be replenished at the Parking Administration Office, 500 Banyan Blvd, West Palm Beach, Fl 33401. Monday - Friday 7 am - 6 pm

Q? What happens if the card or the meter malfunction?
A. Please Call the Parking Office at (561) 822-1500 to report the malfunction. Make sure you have the meter number from the face of the meter or card number from the face of the card. A meter technician will verify the malfunction and either additional time will be placed on the meter or the card.

Q? When do I have to "feed the meters?"
A. Parking meters are enforced Monday through Saturday, from 7 AM until midnight.

Q? What are the meter rates?
A. Meters charge $.25 per 15 minutes to $.25 per 30 minutes depending on location.

Q? What if I can’t find a meter on street?
A. The City operates several parking facilities:

BANYAN GARAGE Located at the corner of Banyan and Olive is open 24 hours per day.
Hourly rates are $1/hour.
FIRST HOUR FREE

EVERNIA GARAGE Located at the corner of Evernia and Dixie is open 24 hours per day.
Hourly rates are $1/hour.
FIRST HOUR FREE

POLICE GARAGE Located at the corner of Clematis Street.
Hourly rates are $1/hour.
FIRST HOUR FREE

B LOT Located at the corner of Dixie and Datura.
Hourly rates are $1/hour.
FIRST HOUR FREE

CLEMATIS STREET LOT Located at the corner of Banyan and North Narcissus.
Hourly rates are $1/hour.

Q? What is the charge for parking during a special event?
A. The special event rate is $10 - $30, paid in advance.

Meters have been turned into donation boxes on five different occasions and have raised more than $20,000 in aid.

Residents of downtown can purchase monthly permits in the Banyan and Evernia Garages for $25 + tax per month.

Other permits are available for on street, surface lots, and the garages.
