Project Engineers:
do much of the in-house work of designing and/or preparing specifications for bid. They provide design review, manage time and financial issues, manage contractors and consultants and provide professional engineering services in support of Utility, Capital Improvement and Stormwater projects.

Senior Project Engineers and Project Engineers work hand in hand to develop specifications and generate requests for proposals. They review consultant designs, procure funding and manage individual projects. They coordinate with City departments such as Law and Risk Management; coordinate with outside utilities and with other government agencies such as the Palm Beach County and the Florida Department of Transportation.
