AREA SHELTERS

Shelters are operated by the American Red Cross.

The nearest shelter may not be open

Not all shelters are open at the same time. Check local media or call the West Palm Beach Emergency Management at (561) 822-2222 or visit EOCOnline.org.


Register in advance

If you require a special needs shelter for medical, or other reasons, you must register with Palm Beach County at (561) 712-6400.


What to bring:

  • Change of clothes
  • Toilet articles
  • Bedding
  • Pillows
  • Medication
  • Special dietary foods
  • Games for children
  • Flashlights
  • Battery powered radio
