If shelters are opened, they will be operated by the American Red Cross. Please note NOT ALL SHELTERS OPEN AT THE SAME TIME.
The nearest shelter may not be open. Check local media or call the West Palm Beach EOC @ 822-2222 for details. When planning, consider the special needs of children, seniors or people with disabilities, family members that don’t speak English and pets. IF YOU REQUIRE A SPECIAL NEEDS SHELTER FOR MEDICAL OR OTHER REASONS, YOU MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE WITH PALM BEACH COUNTY.
