The Fire Department is authorized under Chapter 11 of the City of West Palm Beach Code of Ordinances, Article VIII, Section 11-150 to require employment of standby firemen, EMS and/or Fire Inspectors for events held within the City. The Fire Chief will make the determination of the need for such coverage and the event promoter is responsible for charges incurred based upon the department's costs including any administrative expenses.

Costs
The rate is approximately $30.00 per hour and subject to change without notice. Payments will be billed accordingly.
