SUMMARY: Under close supervision, receives payments from mail and walk-in customers, records incoming revenue for the City including utility bills, parking tickets, occupational licenses and building permits; and performs related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work involves sedentary to light work in an office setting. There is frequent need to sit for prolonged periods and use the hands for data input. There is occasional need to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms and lift light objects (up to 10 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday. The City of West Palm Beach promotes a drug/alcohol-free work environment through the use of mandatory pre-employment drug testing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED and six (6) months of customer service or cashier experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
