Road Closings for Clematis by Night Art Cars Night and Mercedes Benz Corporate Run

04/13/07 – Motorists should be aware of the following street closures for Clematis by Night “Art Cars” Night, as well as the Mercedes Benz Corporate Run, on Thursday, April 19, 2007:
-Clematis Street will be closed to traffic between Rosemary Avenue and Quadrille Boulevard beginning at 9:00 A.M.
-Clematis Street will be closed to traffic between Flagler Drive and Quadrille Boulevard beginning at 3:00 P.M.
-Narcissus Avenue will be closed to traffic between Datura Street and Banyan Boulevard beginning at 3:00 P.M.
-Olive Avenue and Dixie Highway will be closed to traffic between Datura Street and Banyan Blvd. beginning at 5:30 P.M.
-Due to the Mercedes Benz Corporate Run, Flagler Drive will be closed to traffic from Evernia Street to 23rd Street between 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
Motorists should detour around Clematis Street by using Quadrille Blvd., Rosemary Avenue, Sapodilla Avenue, or Tamarind Avenue.
Clematis Street and all adjacent roads will be reopened to traffic by 11:00 P.M.

Lane Closures on 45th Street

04/12/07 - Motorists should be aware that two lanes of 45th Street at I-95 will be closed in each direction intermittently between 9:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M., Monday, April 16, 2007 through Friday, April 20, 2007. Motorists should expect delays in the area.
The lane closures are the result of ongoing road construction in the area.

Douglas Sworn In; Moss Elected Commission President

April 5, 2007 – During a special meeting of the West Palm Beach City Commission, Molly Douglas was sworn in as the new commissioner for District One. Commissioner Douglas replaces Michael Weeks, who was appointed to the District One seat on February 7, 2007. Douglas will serve until the end of the current term, which is in March of 2008.

04/04/07 - The City of West Palm Beach will hold a swearing-in ceremony for new District One Commissioner Molly Douglas at 2:45 P.M on Thursday, April 5, 2007 in City Hall Commission Chambers, located at 200 2nd Street.
The ceremony will be carried live on West Palm TV, Comcast Cable Channel 18.
