High School Debate Team Recognized by City, FL Supreme Court

05/17/07 – The award-winning Dreyfoos School of the Arts Debate team will be recognized by the City of West Palm Beach Commission and by Florida State Supreme Court Justice Barbara J. Pariente at a special ceremony on Monday, May 21, 2007 beginning at 5:00 P.M. in Commission Chambers at West Palm Beach City Hall.
The debate team recently won the 2007 National Public Policy Forum National Debate Champions Award, the second consecutive year the team has won this award.
I-95 Closure at Australian Avenue overpass

05/18/07 - Motorists should be aware of the following road closures:
I-95 southbound at Australian Ave. will undergo a complete closure for Bridge demolition, 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday night, May 20. Motorists may detour via Okeechobee Blvd. to Belvedere Rd.
I-95 northbound at Australian Ave. will undergo a complete closure for Bridge demolition, 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., Monday night, May 21. Motorists may detour via Belvedere Rd. to Okeechobee Blvd.
Hundreds of Kids Competing in City’s “FitKids” Triathlon

05/16/07 - Kids looking to challenge themselves and have a great time will be running, swimming, and biking as part of the upcoming “FitKids” Triathlon at Gaines Park, located at 1501 North Australian Avenue. The event begins at 8:30 A.M. on Sunday, May 20, 2007.

Wonder of Water Tour

This free tour of the City’s water system begins at the Grassy Waters Preserve South Side Nature Center, located at 8537 Northlake Boulevard.
