OCTOBER 28 Cornell Gunter’s COASTERS  www.tciartists.com
Cornell Gunter’s Coasters are notorious for being the supreme comedians of Rock and Roll for supplying the late 50’s with riotously funny records that contained a solid R&B underpinning.  Some of the group’s song parodies that became top selling records and have withstood the test of time include “Yakety Yak,” “Charlie Brown,” “Searchin’ and “Poison Ivy.”  As the first group to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Coasters are still considered one of the liveliest and funniest acts in show business!
