08/31/07 - All City of West Palm Beach offices, including City Hall, will be closed on Monday, September 3, 2007 in observance of Labor Day.

Residential garbage, commercial garbage, yard waste, and recycling will all be picked up according to the normal collection schedule.

08/30/07 - Due to the ongoing I-95 Mobility 2000 project, the I-95 northbound exit ramp to Okeechobee Blvd. will undergo a full closure, 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., Tuesday night, September 4, until Friday morning, September 7.

08/31/07 - As part of the ongoing effort to provide safe, affordable parking for downtown West Palm Beach, the City is building a new, state-of-the-art parking garage in the 500 block of Clematis Street.  The facility will be the City’s first fully-automated parking garage, and will include both retail and office space.

08/27/07 - The City of West Palm Beach would like motorists to be aware of the following road closure information: The I-95 southbound exit ramp to Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. will undergo a full closure, 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., Monday night, August 27, 2007.

Motorists may detour via Okeechobee Blvd.

08/23/07 - Due to work being preformed by the Florida Department of Transportation, the Flagler Memorial Bridge will be closed to traffic from Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 9:00 P.M. until Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 6:00 A.M.

08/20/07 - The City of West Palm Beach Community Redevelopment Agency announces the grand opening of Blue Chip Barbershop located on 410 Northwood Road on Tuesday, August 21 at 5:30 p.m.  Owner Levi Highsmith, a forty-year resident of Northwood, is pleased to bring a barbershop into Northwood Village.  He has been in the barber business for forty years and caters to all.  He believes in giving back to the community and has been a sponsor for Palm Beach County Football League for the past six years.

The I-95 southbound exit ramp to 45th Street will undergo a complete closure, 8 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday night, August 12, until Tuesday morning, August 14. Southbound traffic may detour via Blue Heron Blvd. or Palm Beach Lakes Blvd.
