Labor Day Closings

08/31/07 – All City of West Palm Beach offices, including City Hall, will be closed on Monday, September 3, 2007 in observance of Labor Day.
Residential garbage, commercial garbage, yard waste, and recycling will all be picked up according to the normal collection schedule.
I-95 and Okeechobee Blvd. Ramp Closure

08/30/07 – Due to the ongoing I-95 Mobility 2000 project, the I-95 northbound exit ramp to Okeechobee Blvd. will undergo a full closure, 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., Tuesday night, September 4, until Friday morning, September 7.

State of the Art Parking Facility Coming to WPB

08/31/07 - As part of the ongoing effort to provide safe, affordable parking for downtown West Palm Beach, the City is building a new, state-of-the-art parking garage in the 500 block of Clematis Street. The facility will be the City’s first fully-automated parking garage, and will include both retail and office space.

Teens Hosting/Producing Local Talent Showcase

08/30/07 – Teens from the City’s Northwood Youth Empowerment Center will host and compete in the “Show Me Why U Hot” Talent Showcase on Friday, August 31, 2007 beginning at 8:00 P.M. at the Cuillo Centre for the Arts, located at 201 Clematis Street.

I-95 Ramp Closure

08/27/07 – The City of West Palm Beach would like motorists to be aware of the following road closure information: The I-95 southbound exit ramp to Palm Beach Lakes Blvd. will undergo a full closure, 9 p.m. until 5 a.m., Monday night, August 27, 2007.
Motorists may detour via Okeechobee Blvd.
