08/23/07 – Due to work being preformed by the Florida Department of Transportation, the Flagler Memorial Bridge will be closed to traffic from Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 9:00 P.M. until Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 6:00 A.M.

Grand Opening of “The Cutting Edge” in Northwood Village

08/20/07 – The City of West Palm Beach Community Redevelopment Agency announces the grand opening of Blue Chip Barbershop located on 410 Northwood Road on Tuesday, August 21 at 5:30 p.m. Owner Levi Highsmith, a forty-year resident of Northwood, is pleased to bring a barbershop into Northwood Village. He has been in the barber business for forty years and caters to all. He believes in giving back to the community and has been a sponsor for Palm Beach County Football League for the past six years.
“We are pleased to welcome another new business to Northwood Village, and are thrilled that one of Northwood’s own is making it happen,” said City of West Palm Beach Mayor Lois J. Frankel. “The Village continues to grow and be revitalized with new businesses.”

(08/10/07) The City of West Palm Beach would like motorists to be aware of the following road closure:
The I-95 southbound exit ramp to 45th Street will undergo a complete closure, 8 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday night, August 12, until Tuesday morning, August 14. Southbound traffic may detour via Blue Heron Blvd. or Palm Beach Lakes Blvd.
