Jeri Muoio voted City Commission President

District four commissioner Jeri Muoio has been voted to be the President of the West Palm Beach City Commission. In a unanimous vote, her fellow commissioners bestowed the honor upon her at a swearing-in ceremony on March 27th. Muoio follows former President Bill Moss.
As Commission President, Muoio will run City commission meetings in the event that the Mayor is absent. Said Muoio, “I am proud to serve not only the western communities but the City as a whole. Working with the Mayor and the Commission, we will continue to move the City forward and enhance the quality of life for all our residents.”
Commission President Muoio holds a doctorate from Syracuse University in Education Leadership. Her work for the residents of West Palm Beach includes serving as commission liaison to the Water Catchment Advisory Board and the City Green Task Force. She serves on the Cultural Council and is a City representative to the Metropolitan Planning Organization.
