Many WPB Residents to see Drop in Water Bills
Sep 24, 2008 - Newsletter
Many City of West Palm Beach water customers will see a drop in their monthly water bills, thanks to a resolution recently approved by the City Commission.
Commissioners decided to drop a 20% surcharge that customers had been paying on water they used in excess of 6,000 gallons a month. The 20% surcharge had been in place in light of regional yard watering restrictions imposed by the South Florida Water Management District.
The removal of the 20% surcharge will go in to effect on October 1, 2008.
