Broadway business raises bar for property renovation

May 17, 2010 - CRA, Northwood Village

When: Wednesday, May 19th, 2010 at 10:30 a.m., Ribbon Cutting 11:00 a.m.
Where: 5400 Broadway West Palm Beach
Who: Nozzle Nolen

To celebrate the impact of redevelopment, Nozzle Nolen will host their Grand Re-Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on May 19th, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Nozzle Nolen is located at 5400 Broadway and the event will include a complimentary continental breakfast.

The Nozzle Nolen branch in West Palm Beach has raised the bar for business renovation in the Broadway corridor. With approximately $500,000 in exterior and interior renovations, Nozzle Nolen seized the opportunity to utilize West Palm Beach Community Redevelopment Agency incentives to renovate their buildings. Nozzle Nolen has set a wonderful example for other Broadway businesses to follow.

The renovations have not only impacted staff at Nozzle Nolen by providing a new termite section, training area and meeting rooms, but the community as well. “We’ve had many people comment on how great the building looks,” explained Robert Staples, Office Manager. “Next to the fire station, we are now the next best looking building in the North end. We believe one of the benefits of our renovations is that now other property owners will be more encouraged to take the initiative to renovate and improve their properties.”
