Where: Waterfront Commons, near Clematis Fountain, downtown WPB
(10-05-10) The West Palm Beach GreenMarket has a new home as it kicks off its 16th season: the stunning new West Palm Beach Waterfront. The area’s biggest and most popular traditional farmer’s market will now be held on the Waterfront Commons which is near the Clematis Fountain at Clematis Street and Narcissus Avenue.
The WPB GreenMarket is held Saturdays from October 16, 2010, to May 14, 2011, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. FREE parking is offered in the Banyan Street Garage during market hours. The GreenMarket will be closed on December 25, 2010, January 1, 2011, January 29, 2011, March 26, 2011 and April 30, 2011.
You can shop for farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, bakes breads, pastries, plants, flowers and more while you enjoy cool ocean breezes on the beautiful new downtown West Palm Beach waterfront.

Holiday Cheer at this Week’s WPB GreenMarket

Chef Showcase and International Skit Help Celebrate the Holidays
(Friday, December 18, 2009) Tomorrow’s West Palm Beach GreenMarket will be helping spread holiday cheer with two special events:
At 10:00 a.m. at the corner of 2nd Street and Narcissus Avenue, students from Roosevelt Middle School will delight GreenMarket patrons as they perform an international skit.
Following the performance, Chef John Carlino will share healthy and flavorful recipes at the International Chef Showcase, also at the corner of Narcissus and 2nd.
Each Saturday, guests are invited to stroll through the beautiful GreenMarket setting on West Palm Beach’s waterfront. You can browse the best collection of farm-fresh produce, beautiful orchids and flowers, tasty breads and the freshest food around, listen to live music and enjoy coffee or breakfast at our outdoor GreenMarket café, or just soak in the beautiful downtown waterfront scenery.
The West Palm Beach GreenMarket is held every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Second Street and Narcissus Avenue just outside the old City Hall.
