This eagerly anticipated monthly event will feature music from The Jazz Arts Music Society of Palm Beach and is a great opportunity to see the new West Palm Beach Public Library at its finest. Wine and light snacks will be available for a small fee.
The series will take place the first Friday of each month from November through April 2010 and will be held on the library’s Third Floor, Auditorium.

(08/03/09) Thinking about your future? You can meet with local colleges and universities, get advice and feedback and learn about scholarship money all at the FREE “Get that Degree” Education Fair. The fair is being held on Tuesday, August 4, 2009, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the WPB Library’s Urban Living Room at 411 Clematis Street.
The schools on-site will be Barry University, Florida Atlantic University, Keiser University, Palm Beach Atlantic, Palm Beach Community College, Nova Southeast University, Union Institute and University and the University of Phoenix.
WPB Library Helping Give Kids Healthy Start to School Year

(07/28/09) The West Palm Beach Public Library will be helping kids get a healthy start to the school year when the Palm Beach County Immunization Van pays a visit on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. The WPB Library is located at 411 Clematis Street.
The van offers immunization free of charge to all children up to 18 years of age. Parents are asked to bring their children’s immunization records and proof of social security number. Registration for the immunizations may stop early if the maximum number of clients is reached.

Come meet #1 New York Times best-selling author Daniel Silva at the new, state-of-the-art downtown WPB Library!
Silva is scheduled to visit our library on Friday, July 24 at 1:00 pm to discuss and sign his new book The Defector.
This free event is a a great lunch time break for our downtown residents and workers!
The new library is located at 411 Clematis Street, near the corner of Clematis Street and Dixie Highway.
