City Hall will be closed on Monday, January 17, 2011 in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.
There will be no garbage pick up on Monday, January 17. Garbage will be picked up on the next scheduled pick up day.

There will be no “garbage” pick up on Saturday, January 01, 2011. Garbage will be picked up on the next scheduled pick up day.
There will be “recycling” pick up on Saturday, January 01, 2011.
Christmas trees are considered vegetative waste and will be picked up on regular yard waste pick up days.
Residents that do not receive yard waste pick up (such as communities with dumpsters), will need to make separate arrangements with a private hauler, or may haul them themselves to the Solid Waste Authority to be recycled. Many communities have had success utilizing the landscape companies that maintain their properties. The phone number for the Solid Waste Authority is 561-640-4000.
City Hall will be closed on Friday, December 31 for the New Years holiday.
City of West Palm Beach 2010 Holiday Schedule and Garbage Pick-up

As part of the city’s efforts to minimize impact on customer service while saving money City Hall will be closed on Thursday Dec.23, Friday Dec.24 and Friday Dec. 31st. This includes a furlough day for which employees are not paid.
In addition, residents who normally have their residential garbage pick-up on Saturday will not have the service on Christmas Day December 25 or New Years Day January 1st. Garbage collection for those residents will be on the next regularly scheduled day which is Wednesday.

All City of West Palm Beach offices, including City Hall and the Library, will be closed on Thursday, November 11, 2010, in observance of Veterans Day.
PLEASE NOTE: There will NOT be any collection of residential garbage or yard waste or commercial garbage cans on Thursday, November 11, 2010. Customers who normally have garbage and yard waste picked up on Thursday will get it picked up on their next regularly-scheduled collection day.
Commercial dumpster routes will be collected.
Recycling will be picked up on Thursday, November 11.
City of WPB Columbus Day Schedule

(10/06/10) All City of West Palm Beach offices, including City Hall and the Library, will be closed on Monday, October 11, 2010, in observance of Columbus Day.
There will NOT be any collection of residential garbage or yard waste or commercial customers’ garbage cans on Monday, October 11, 2010. Customers who normally have garbage and yard waste picked up on Monday will only have one garbage collection the week of October 11 and will get service on their next regularly-scheduled collection day.
There will be recycling pickup on Monday, October 11, 2010.
Commercial garbage dumpsters will be emptied.
