To facilitate emergency utility work the following road closure will be in effect from 5AM Wednesday, June 22 until Friday June 24, 2011 when the area will reopen to traffic.

SOUTHBOUND TRAFFIC ONLY
RESTRICTION: The southbound traffic will be detoured via: Palm Beach Lakes Blvd., Dixie Hwy. and Banyan Blvd.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area and to adjust travel time accordingly.

(03/11/11) West Palm Beach residents and visitors should be aware of the following information regarding St. Patrick’s Day in downtown West Palm Beach:
There will be 3 major St. Patrick’s Day celebrations on Thursday, March 17 in downtown West Palm Beach: O’Sheas St. Patrick’s Day Party, Roxy’s St. Patrick’s Day Bash, and Clematis By Night’s “Everyone’s Irish” event.
O’Sheas St. Patrick’s Day Party will take place in the 500 block of Clematis Street from 10am to 2am and feature Irish cheer and a mini parade down Clematis Street at 3:00 p.m.
Roxy’s St. Patrick’s Day Bash will take place in the 300 block of Clematis Street from 5pm – 11pm and feature live music beginning at 9pm, games and beverages.
Clematis by Night’s “Everyone’s Irish” event will take place in Centennial Square from 6pm – 9pm and feature the Tir Na Greine School of Irish Dance, Palm Beach Atlantic University performances and the main act, Blue Light Audio. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit the Palm Beach Firefighters Benevolent Association.
The 500 block of Clematis Street, west of the Clematis Parking Garage, will close at 8am on March 17, 2011 and reopen by 5 am, March 18, 2011.
The 300 block of Clematis Street will close at 12 noon on March 17, 2011 and reopen prior to 5am on March 18, 2011.
The 200 block of Clematis Street, Narcissus Avenue from Banyan Boulevard to Datura Street will close at 6pm on March 17, 2011 and reopen prior to 5am on March 18, 2011.
North and South Clematis Streets will close at 3pm on March 17, 2011 and reopen prior to 5am on March 18, 2011.
City of West Palm Beach parking locations will charge a flat $7 Special Event fee after 4pm on March 17, 2011.
Boat Show Road Advisory
Starting Sunday, March 20, 2011 until Tuesday March 29, Flagler Drive will undergo a complete closure from Lakeview Avenue to Banyan Boulevard. Northbound traffic may detour via Olive Avenue and southbound traffic may detour via Dixie Highway. Flagler drive is currently partially closed from Lakeview to Banyan Boulevard.
The southbound only lanes of Flagler Drive will reopen on Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Flagler Drive will completely reopen on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 5 p.m.
Beginning Tuesday, March 15 until Wednesday, March 30, Narcissus Avenue will be closed between Evernia Street and Datura Street.
Saturday, March 26, 2011 until Sunday, March 27, 2011 Rosemary Avenue will be closed from Okeechobee to Evernia Street, and Hibiscus Street will be closed between Quadrille and Sapodilla for a City Place Art Show.
Visitors to the Boat Show are encouraged to exit I-95 at Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard to get to one of the city’s parking garages on Banyan Boulevard or Okeechobee Boulevard to Quadrille to access the Evernia Street Garage.
The free trolley will be operating between City Place and the Waterfront for additional access to both venues.

The waterfront Great Lawn will be closed off and the nightly lightshows will be suspended beginning Friday, March 11, 2011. The Lawn will reopen and the lightshows will resume no later than Sunday, April 3, 2011.
The “Eco Treasures” exhibition at the Waterfront Lake Pavilion will be closed to the general public March 21-29, 2011. The exhibition will be open to Boat Show patrons only during the Boat Show from March 25-28.
