The City has announced the following road closures:
AUTO SHOW AT WEST PALM BEACH

ROAD CLOSURES, from 10 am to 5:30 pm:
- North-bound lane of Flagler Drive between north Clematis and Datura
- South bound lane of Flagler between north Clematis and south Clematis

Event date/time: FEBRUARY 20, 3:00 to 10:00 pm
ROAD CLOSURES (all roads reopen at midnight on Feb. 20)
- Starting February 19 at 8 am: Flagler Drive between Banyan and Fern
- Starting Feb. 20 at 1 pm:
o Flagler Drive between Fern and Lakeview
o North and South Clematis
o Narcissus and Lantana between Clematis and Banyan
Clematis Streetscape Corings

When: Friday, January 21st, 2011
Where: Clematis Street from Narcissus Ave. to Rosemary Ave.
In preparation for Clematis Streetscape, on Friday, January 21st, coring of the street will take place along Clematis Street from Narcissus Ave to Rosemary Ave.
The work will be completed throughout the day and will require temporary road closures. There will be small areas that need to be opened but these will be in confined areas and all attempts will be made in an effort to minimize the disruption of regular business on the street.
Moonfest 2010 Traffic and Parking Information

Affected Area: Downtown West Palm Beach
(10/27/10) West Palm Beach Police officers will be in place to help guide “Moonfest” traffic and ease congestion on Saturday, October 30, 2010.
In order to avoid traffic on the Okeechobee corridor, motorists traveling to West Palm Beach on I-95 are advised to use either the Southern Boulevard or Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard exits to enter the downtown.
Those exiting on Southern Boulevard should head east on Southern Blvd. to Parker Avenue, turn north on Parker Avenue to Banyan Blvd. and then head east on Banyan Blvd.
Those exiting on Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard should head east to Australian Avenue, go south on Australian Ave. to Banyan Blvd. and then head east on Banyan Blvd.
All City-owned parking lots and garages will be charging the special event rate of $15 beginning at 5:00 p.m. on October 30, 2010.
33rd Street Infrastructure Improvements

When: Beginning Monday, October 25, 2010
Affected Area: 33rd Street at Broadway
Due to improvements and upgrades taking place on 33rd Street, motorists should be aware that the intersection of 33rd Street and Broadway will be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, October 25, 2010. The intersection is expected to reopen no later than Wednesday, November 24, 2010.
Motorists should detour to Pinewood Avenue via either 36th Street or 25th Street. Detour signs will be in place to direct motorists. All residents, businesses and their customers will continue to have access to their destinations during the construction.
Crews will be upgrading drainage pipes, curbs, the roadway and more, etc…
24th Street Open to Traffic

What: 24th Street Open to Traffic
When: Beginning Thursday, October 21, 2010
Affected Area: Northwood Village area
(10/21/10) Motorists should be aware of the following changes in the Northwood Village area:
24th Street is now completely open to traffic between Broadway and Dixie Highway.
25th Street is closed to through traffic between Broadway and Spruce Avenue.
All residents, businesses and their customers will continue to have access to their destinations at all times during this project.
The traffic changes are part of the ongoing infrastructure improvement project in Northwood Village. The City’s Community Redevelopment Agency is upgrading drinking water pipes, improving drainage and installing new lighting and landscaping.
