On Saturday, August 14, 2004 West Palm Beach Mayor Lois Frankel
was joined by family members of the late Warren Hawkins to
dedicate the former Gaines Park pool as the Warren Hawkins
Aquatic Center. Members or the Hawkins family spoke about
Mr. Hawkins and his impact on the history of aquatics in West
Palm Beach.
