| Program Description: |
The purpose of the Basketball Program is to teach children the proper fundamentals of basketball in a fun filled atmosphere. Games will be played but scores will not be recorded and standings will not be kept. Parents are encouraged to assist with the coaching of this program. We offer coaches certification and training through the National Youth Sports Coaches Association.

| Age: |
The age bracket in which a player participates should be determined by the players age as of
September 1, 2008. Age Brackets: co-ed 5-6, coed 7-8, co-ed 9-10, coed 11-12, coed, and coed 13-14.

| Practices: |
Practices will begin the week of January 12. Practice days and times are dependent on Coachs availability. Practices will be held at South Olive, Gaines, Coleman and Pleasant City Community Centers.
|
| Games: |
Games will be played on a rotating system at South Olive, Gaines and Pleasant City Community Centers. Games will be played on the following days:
- 5/6 yr olds Friday evenings 6:00 pm @ South Olive
- 7/8 yr olds Saturdays rotating between South Olive, Gaines and PC
- 9/10 yr olds - Saturdays rotating between South Olive, Gaines and PC
- 11/12 yr olds - Saturdays rotating between South Olive, Gaines and PC
- 13/14 yr olds Friday evenings @ South Olive

Registration can be taken at Dreher Park or any City of West Palm Beach Community Center. Registration is on a first come first served basis. Avoid disappointment please register early! Deadline for registration is December 19.

| Cost: |
$50 resident/$65 nonresident; Participants will receive a uniform shirt and participation award at the end of the season. No refunds after 2nd practice. Scholarships available for City of WPB Residents contact us for further information.
