CityFun 2009 Summer Camps

Summer Camps
We offer a wide variety of safe, exciting camp programs. Please download the appropriate registration form to find out about sports camps, general day camps and so much more! Our camps are designed for ages 3 through teen, so here is a great opportunity to keep your kids safe and busy this summer!

CAMP HOURS:
Day Camps from 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
Pixie Camp from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

CAMP SESSIONS:
Session 1: June 15 - July 10
Session 2: July 13 - August 7
Extended Camp: August 10 - 14

Registration will be accepted by post marked mail until camps are filled. Resident Registration can not be post marked prior to March 16, 2009. Non-Resident Registration can not be post marked prior to April 13, 2009. Envelops with a post mark prior to the appropriate registration date will not be processed. Sorry no priority, special or walk-ins accepted.

The City of West Palm Beach Summer Camp accepts the PBC Summer Camp Scholarship Program.

Summer Camp

The Summer Camp Scholarship Program provides full-tuition and fees for summer camp for children residing in families with incomes at or below 125% of Federal Poverty Guidelines. It allows parents to work or attend training with the knowledge that their children are safe. It gives children educational and recreational opportunities for growth. Parents may choose from over 100 participating camps in Palm Beach County.

Priority is given to applicants in the following order:

  1. Homeless children/Foster Care children living in group homes
  2. Working Parents/ Foster Care children living in households with working parents
  3. Disabled parents or Elderly parents/guardians
  4. Non-working parents
  5.

About Us

The people of West Palm Beach are very proud of our City... but we are especially proud of our children. Our city officials and the Parks and Recreation staff celebrate our children and encourage them to share in our diversity, to embrace it and to live life to the fullest. Our city boasts over 40 parks and public spaces, six community centers (with a seventh planned) and a nature center (located west of the city center).

As you browse this website you will find a variety of programs offered for children ages 6 months to 18 years, as well as for adults, families and seniors. For children, there are summer and holiday specialty camps and day camps. There are swimming, sailing and tennis lessons, sports camps including roller hockey camp, soccer camp, and volleyball instruction) and year-round opportunities for children and adults to compete in league play.
