MELANIE JENKINS PARK
Location: Tamarind Ave. and 17th Street

Neighborhood green space with street side parking. The park was named after Melanie Jenkins, a community activist who fought for issues such as better street lighting to issues of equality and discrimination. Ms. Jenkins was killed in a hit and run accident.
