Thank you for your interest in becoming certified as a small business with the City of West Palm Beach’s Small Business Division. The City’s Small Business Program was established so that all businesses are afforded an opportunity for full participation in the city’s procurement process.
If your business meets the following criteria, you are encouraged to apply for certification which qualifies your business for participation in the City’s preferential procurement programs:
Is domiciled in Palm Beach County
Is an independently owned and operated business concern that is not owned or controlled by a large business
Performs a commercially useful function and is responsible for execution of a discrete element of work of a contract and carrying out its responsibilities by actually performing, managing, and supervising the work performed
Employs less that 30 full-time employees and the business’s adjusted gross margin does not exceed:
$3,000,000 in construction
$1,500,000 in commodities
$2,000,000 in professional services
Is registered as a vendor with the Procurement Division of the City of West Palm Beach
