The Historic Preservation Board (HPB) considers applications for variances, special exceptions, and Class B Special Use Permits, Certificates of Appropriateness and Certificates of Economic Hardship for historic districts and properties. The HPB reviews proposed changes to the Design Guidelines Handbook and has the abilitiy to nominate properties and districts to the National Register.

Application Deadlines and Meeting Schedule:

All application deadlines are strictly enforced. All applications must be to the Historic Preservation Section's office no later than 4:30pm on the day of the deadline. Partial applications will not be accepted for placement on the Board's agenda until all such materials are submitted.
