  • A. Construction is slated to begin during the historically slower summer months, June – October.

  • Q. Which blocks will be affected?
  • A. We are looking forward to receiving professional direction and recommendation from Dover Kohl about phase execution. As quality remains at the forefront of this project, it will be broken into phases to maintain expert execution. We will know more about the recommended plans in January.

  • Q. Who will decide the final design?
  • A. After a series of stakeholder meetings and public opportunities for feedback, the Dover Kohl will present final design plans to the City of West Palm Beach for review and approval. The designs will be voted on during the February 26 Face of the City meeting by the City Commissioners.

  • Q. When will the next phases take place?
  • A. We are looking forward to receiving professional direction and recommendation from Dover Kohl about phase execution, which will determine how many blocks can be accomplished in Phase I and what the long-term scope of the project will look like. We anticipate being able to share first design drafts with the merchants as early as the week of January 16.

  • Q. Will parking be impacted? Will there be shade trees? Café seating?
  • A. Dover Kohl has received the data and research from the City of West Palm Beach’s months-long mobility study, which will help to drive decisions and recommendations for this project. At this point, it is too soon to say if parking will be impacted, but what is known is that this project is being executed with the utmost quality in mind. We have full faith in the design team and look forward to their recommendations for discussion.
