Parking Payment

Coins

Most parking meters around the City accept quarters, dollar coins and credit cards (though some accept nickels and dimes).

Ticket

Ticket payments can be made on line, by mail at P.O. Box 1469 West Palm Beach Florida 33401, over the phone at 561-822-1500 or in person at 500 Banyan Blvd. If any citations are over 35 days old or if you have more than 3 citations, please contact Parking Administration for assistance

The Parking Ticket Online Payment System is a convenient way to pay for a parking violation.

Pay by Phone

No coins? No worries! Now paying for Downtown parking is as easy as 1-2-3:

  1. Pull into a metered space. Just look for our green Parkmobile sign with the cell phone logo Parkmobile.
  2. Use the Parkmobile App or call 1-877-727-5714 to activate your parking session and key in the parking space number.
  3. Get to your meeting, run your errands or do something fun. Parkmobile will text you when you’ve got about 15 minutes before your parking session expires.

Pay By Plate

A new way to pay has arrived in downtown Pay by Plate is replacing the pay-and-display system in our open lots. This new system allows the driver to pay at the meter that is on the way to their destination without having to return to their vehicle to display a receipt making on-street parking downtown a more user-friendly and efficient system.  Customers, who park in the areas where Pay by Plate machines are available, will no longer need to display a ticket on the dash. They will only need currency or a credit/debit card and their license plate number.

Payment by Credit Card – Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover

  • Insert card and remove quickly.
  • Select a value button to add time in hourly increments or select the “Daily Max” button (where applicable) and the meter will calculate the time through the end of the day, but will not exceed the posted daily maximum.
  • Once you reach the desired time, press the green button to print your receipt.
  • Take your receipt and display it face-up on the dashboard of your car. Keep the tear-off stub for your records.

No activity for 60 seconds and/or pressing the cancel button prior to printing your receipt will cancel the transaction and your credit card will not be charged.

Payment in Cash – Bills ($10, $5, $1) Coins (Dollar Coin, Quarter, Dime, Nickel)

  • Insert coins/bills until you reach the desired time. The meter will only accept payment up to the posted daily maximum.
  • Once you reach the desired time, press the green button to print your receipt.
  • Take your receipt and display it face-up on the dashboard of your car. Keep the tear-off stub for your records.

Coins: No activity for 60 seconds and/or pressing the cancel button prior to printing your receipt will cancel the transaction and your coins will be returned.
Bills: Bills will not be returned! If no activity for 60 seconds, a receipt will be issued for the amount of time displayed on the meter.
Pressing the cancel button will result in a “refund receipt”. Follow instructions printed on this receipt to receive your refund.
