COVID-19 Update #35

City of WPB Giant Egg Hunt to be Held in Accordance with Social Distancing Guidelines

Post Date:04/03/2020 5:20 PM

WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (April 3, 2020) – The City of West Palm Beach invites families to hop on over to their local recreation center and pop their trunks to get DIY egg hunt supplies! Due to the recent social distancing guidelines resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, the City’s parks and recreation department have made arrangements so that the community can still enjoy an egg hunt at home. Instead of hosting the annual Giant Egg Hunt at a City park, families can claim a free bundle of treat-filled plastic eggs and still enjoy this traditional Spring activity.

On Saturday, April 11th from 10am-12pm, eggs can be picked up from the following locations:

  • Coleman Park
    1116 21st Street
  • Gaines Park
    1501 N Australian Avenue
  • Howard Park
    1302 Parker Avenue
  • Pleasant City Community Center
    501 21st Street
  • South Olive Park
    345 Summa Street

Guests simply open their trunk and event representatives will hand over the plastic eggs. Supplies are limited. For more information, call the City’s parks and recreation department at (561) 804-4900 (TTY 800-955-8771), or visit www.wpb.org/parks.
