WEST PALM BEACH, FLA. (March 5, 2019) -- Manual wheelchairs are now available on loan for free for visitors to Grassy Waters Preserve of West Palm Beach, located at 8264 Northlake Boulevard in West Palm Beach. In line with the city’s commitment to creating a city for all and to opening up access to the preserve to even more visitors, there are now two wheelchairs located in the Grassy Waters Preserve Nature Center.  The wheelchairs are made possible in part thanks to a grant by the Grassy Waters Conservancy and the IBIS Charities Foundation. The complimentary manual wheelchair loan is available on a first-come, first-served basis or by reservation. Visitors are welcome to use their own mobility devices. Please note this does not include devices used strictly for recreational purposes. To reserve a wheelchair in advance of your visit, contact the Grassy Waters Preserve of West Palm Beach Nature Center at (561) 804-4985.
