Swearing-in for WPB Mayor-Elect Keith James, Commissioners Set for April 4
Public Invited to Ceremonial Event as Mayor, Three Commissioners Take Oath of Office
WEST PALM BEACH, FLA (March 28, 2019) – The City of West Palm Beach will host a swearing-in ceremony for Mayor-elect Keith James and new and returning City Commissioners on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 5 p.m. at Commission Chambers inside City Hall, located at 401 Clematis Street. As Mayor Jeri Muoio’s eight-year tenure ends, Mayor-elect James will take the oath of office. Re-elected City Commissioner Cory Neering (District 2) will also take the oath of office, along with newly-elected Commissioners Joe Peduzzi (District 4) and Richard Ryles (District 3).
 
After the swearing-in, a vote will be held to select the President of the Commission, and there will be remarks delivered by the incoming Mayor and Commissioners.
 
The public is invited to attend the ceremony, and overflow seating will be provided. The swearing-in ceremony will be the 10th held inside City Center, the current City Hall complex which was completed in March of 2009.
