WPB Police Collecting Hurricane Relief Items

For Bahamas

The West Palm Beach Police Department has several officers who have volunteered to deliver Hurricane Relief to the Bahamas. WPBPD will collect the items listed below from anyone wishing to donate them. Donations will be accepted between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on TODAY September 4th, 2019, at the West Palm Beach Police Department, 600 Banyan Blvd., West Palm Beach, Florida 33401. *Although it is appreciated we are unable to accept clothing.

  4. Meals Ready to Eat (MRE's)

Sanitation Services Have Resumed

The City of West Palm Beach resumed residential and commercial pickup at 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2019. Recycling resumed this morning as well. Yard waste and bulk pickup will resume on Thursday, September 5, 2019. Special pickups will resume on Friday, September 6, 2019.  


WPB to Resume Normal Operations on Thursday, September 5, 2019

Mayor Keith A. James has signed a termination of the declaration of the State of Local Emergency effective midnight tonight. The City of West Palm Beach will resume normal operations on Thursday, September 5, 2019.

City Parking Garages Reopen After Hurricane

The City of West Palm Beach announces that all City garages are back OPEN! City garages were closed to access on September 1, 2019 due to Hurricane Dorian. Those individuals who parked their vehicles in the garage for protection from the storm will have 48-hours to remove their vehicles free of charge. After 48-hours, there will be an assessment of $10 per day for each day past the 48-hour free window. For City of West Palm Beach Parking Administration, please call: (561) 822-1500.
