The Public Works Department provides the citizens of West Palm Beach a quality of life that promotes health, safety and economic well-being through quality Sanitation services and Street and Traffic Maintenance.

Fast Facts

The Public Works Department maintains over 510 lane miles of City streets, 11,900 street lights, 19,300 street signs and traffic control devices and 25,000 sanitation accounts.

Upgrades Fuel the Future!

 Impressive infrastructure upgrades at the City of West Palm Beach keep things rolling. New fueling stations and equipment additions will keep the City's fleet of 700 vehicles ready to serve resident's needs and keep employees safe. With Amy Marks and Leon Pinder, Director of Public Works.
