Keep West Palm Beach Beautiful

History
The Keep West Palm Beach Beautiful (KWPBB) program is a city initiative that originated from the Clean Streets Task Force. As part of Mayor Keith James’ commitment to Neighborhoods First, the Clean Streets Task Force was developed to enhance the effort and bring additional accountability and structure to the initiative. The Mayor’s Neighborhoods First Initiative will do the following to create a culture that focuses on neighborhood collaboration and partnerships:

KWPBB shares the Keep America Beautiful (KAB) mission to inspire and educate people to take action every day to improve and beautify their communities. KWPBB collaborates with residents, volunteers and our community partners for the purpose of providing Community Restoration and Community Resiliency for all of West Palm Beach.
Community Restoration
CLEAN: End to the littering in our neighborhoods and reduce the waste.
GREEN: Plant trees and nurture our green spaces for the benefit of our community and environment.
Community Resiliency
MOBILIZED: Commitment to an inclusive community centered approach.
INCLUSIVE: Leveraging the collective talents, strengths and capabilities of our community and partners.
Community Action
KWPBB and our Clean Streets program encourage residents and neighborhood communities to get involved. Explore what we have accomplished on our YouTube channel.
Mission
Beautification:
Beautiful neighborhoods begins within our communities. Sustainable gardening, tree planting, vacant lot mitigation, and living seawall restoration, are just a few ways our residents and partners can contribute to Keeping West Palm Beach Beautiful.
Reduce Waste:
The average American produces 4.5 pounds of trash per day. Collectively, Americans produce 268 million tons of waste. More than half of the waste produced is contributed by residential waste. Recycling, composting, and no longer using single use products and packaging are a few strategies we can start today. See the A-Z Guide to Waste Disposal & Recycling.
End Littering:
Littering negatively impacts the environment, our public spaces and quality of life for our residents and visitors. All of our communities deserve to be clean and litter free.
Volunteerism:
Your Keep West Palm Beach Beautiful program is here to enable and empower West Palm Beach residents and our volunteer partners. If you’re interested in volunteering to help clean up the City of West Palm Beach, KWPBB can help!
