The Office of Sustainability relies on community support to keep West Palm Beach vibrant, resilient, and thriving. Volunteers help strengthen our programs, engage residents, and support sustainability efforts across the city.  

Whether you prefer helping at events, assisting with simple tasks, or contributing from home, there are flexible ways to get involved.

Become a Sustainability Volunteer

The Sustainability Advisory Committee has been formed by the City of West Palm Beach, per Ordinance 4298-10. The focus of the Committee is to help advance the sustainability goals of the City. The Committee was appointed by the Mayor for terms of two years and is composed of nine regular members that are residents or have their principal place of employment within the City. Please see Ordinance 4298-10 for more details.

Meetings are generally held on the second Tuesday, every three months, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Sustainability Advisory Committee may hold special meetings at the direction of its chair upon 24-hour notice.
