City of West Palm Beach Partners with United Way of Palm Beach County for Free Tax Preparation Services

WEST PALM BEACH, FL — The City of West Palm Beach is pleased to announce a partnership with the United Way of Palm Beach County to provide free, in-person tax preparation services through the VITA Tax Program. The program will be hosted at the Eva W. Mack Community Hub (1540 N. Australian Ave.), starting on Thursday, Jan. 18, and will continue until Monday, April 15, 2024.

Individuals seeking assistance with their tax preparation are welcome to take advantage of this service, which will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointment is necessary, making it convenient for residents to access the support they need during the 2024 tax season.

VITA staff will be available on-site at the Eva W. Mack Community Hub on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The meeting room located in the back of the building near the kitchen area will be designated for tax preparation services.

"Access to free tax preparation services can make a significant difference for individuals and families, and we encourage all eligible residents to take advantage of this opportunity."
