CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH ENGINEERING, PUBLIC WORKS & UTILITY ROAD CLOSURES
36th Street Sanitary Sewer and Drainage Rehab (through May 2025): Intermittent lane closures with flagging operations for underground work.
Georgia Avenue Sanitary Sewer and Stormwater Rehabilitation (through August 2025): Intermittent lanes closures for storm and sanitary sewer investigation.
Washington Road (through May 2025): Intermittent lane closures on Washington Road between Monceaux Road and Edgewood Drive for lighting installation.

Georgia Avenue from Belvedere Road to Avon Road: Intersection improvements. Georgia Avenue from Belvedere Road to Avon Road is closed from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Periodic eastbound left turn lane closure and westbound right lane closures. Traffic will be detoured via Belvedere Road, Parker Avenue, Avon Road and Florida Avenue.
Georgia Avenue from Belvedere Road North of Gotham Court: Intersection improvements. Georgia Avenue from Belvedere Road to north of Gotham Court is closed from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Periodic eastbound right lane closure and westbound left turn lane closure. Traffic will be detoured via Parker Avenue.

FLORIDA DEPT. OF TRANSPORTATION (FDOT) ROAD CLOSURES IN THE CITY OF WPB
State Road (SR) 710/Beeline Highway Reconstruction Project (through late 2029)
Project Limits: 3.142-mile project in the cities of Palm Beach Gardens, Riviera Beach and West Palm Beach began on March 18, 2024.
Improvements consist of widening SR 710/Beeline Highway from Northlake Boulevard to SR 708/Blue Heron Boulevard from 4 lanes to 6 lanes, replacing and widening the Florida’s Turnpike bridge over SR 710/Beeline Highway, constructing an at-grade partial Continuous Flow Intersection (CFI) at the intersection of SR 710/Beeline Highway and Northlake Boulevard, adding sidewalks and bicycle lanes on both sides of SR 710/Beeline Highway, upgrading railroad crossings, drainage, signage, lighting, signalization and pavement markings throughout project limits, and upgrading Intelligent Transportation System (ITS).
State Road (SR) 710/Beeline Highway from SR 708/Blue Heron to Northlake Boulevard will have one inside lane closed in each direction, daily, 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
SR 710/Beeline Highway and Northlake Boulevard will have one inside lane closed in each direction, daily, 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
SR 710/Beeline Highway and Jog Road will have one inside lane closed in each direction, daily, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
SR 710/Beeline Highway and Haverhill Road will have one inside lane closed in each direction, daily, 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
SR 710/Beeline Highway from Military Trail to Blue Heron Boulevard will have one lane closed in each direction, daily, 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
SR 710/Beeline Highway lane widths are reduced and westbound traffic has been shifted to the median from just east of the Turnpike to Blue Heron Boulevard to safely facilitate construction activities.
The SR 710/Beeline Highway northwest ramp to eastbound Northlake Boulevard has been temporarily closed to safely facilitate this phase of construction and is anticipated to reopen in Fall 2025. During this closure, motorists can continue on SR 710/Beeline Highway and turn right at the light to access eastbound Northlake Boulevard.
Northshore Bridge Improvements Project (spring 2025)
Project Limits: This 0.07-mile project on North Shore Drive over the Carver Canal in the City of West Palm Beach began August 26, 2024.
The work includes construction of a prefabricated steel pedestrian bridge on the west side of North Shore Drive crossing the Carver Canal, realignment of the pedestrian sidewalk path on the west side of North Shore Bridge to the new pedestrian bridge, reconstruction of drainage outfalls along the north and south sides of the newly constructed pedestrian bridge, replacement and upgrading signage impacted by construction, and adding lighting at each side of the new pedestrian bridge.
The southbound lane of North Shore Drive will be intermittently closed from Monday through Friday for material delivery and drainage installation operations. Flaggers will be on-site to assist motorists, and pedestrian detours will be in place.
Intersection Lighting Retrofit Improvements Project
Project Limits: This lighting improvements project at 22 different intersections within cities in Palm Beach, Martin, and St. Lucie Counties is anticipated to begin December 9, 2024. Improvements include creating a safer, more energy-efficient, and resilient transportation environment by upgrading lighting to LED fixtures and retrofitting existing light poles.
SR 882/Forest Hill Boulevard from Jog Road to SR 805/Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach will have intermittent single-lane closures from 6:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., excluding peak hours and school speed zone hours, Tuesday through Friday, for lighting fixture replacement activities.

Currie Park Boat Docks and Ramps (2400 North Flagler Drive): Ramps are open daily, from sunrise to sunset.
Lake Mangonia Park Boat Ramps (2957 North Australian Avenue): Ramps are open daily, from sunrise to sunset.
Clematis Street Docks (South Clematis Street at South Flagler Drive): Docks are open daily, from 5 a.m. until midnight.
Fern Street Dock (Fern Street at South Flagler Drive): The dock is open daily from 5 a.m. until midnight. No overnight dockage is allowed for boats, dinghies, or kayaks. The Fern Dock is also the home of a West Palm Beach Marine Patrol Boat and the West Palm Beach Fire and Rescue Boat.
