City Hall, the Mandel Public Library and Grassy Waters Nature Center and non-essential services will be closed Thursday, June 19, 2025, in observance of Juneteenth. Regular residential and commercial trash collection will continue on schedule. City Hall, Grassy Waters and most services will re-open at 8 a.m., Friday, June 20, 2025, and the Mandel Public Library will re-open at 9:30 a.m.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (April 27, 2025) -- The West Plam Beach Police Department responded to a ShotSpotter activation along the 500 block of 24th Street in Northwood around 1:10 a.m. on Sunday, April 27.
Upon arrival, officers located a 29-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her upper right shoulder. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
