The Currie Park Boat Docks and Ramps are closed for renovations. The work is part of a $35.5 million redesign and renovation project at Currie Park, 5400 North Flagler Drive. West Palm Beach Police Announce Guilty Verdict Reached in 2022 Homicide Case
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (March 31, 2025) – On March 27, 2025, a Palm Beach County jury found Patrick Brockman guilty in connection with a 2022 homicide and other violent crimes that occurred within city limits.
The investigation began on October 2, 2022, when officers responded to reports of gunfire and discovered a male victim deceased, long-time City of West Palm Beach employee Rickie Little. Detectives later connected the case to additional violent incidents in the area.
Through a joint investigation, Brockman was identified as a suspect and linked to crimes in multiple jurisdictions. He was arrested and faced multiple charges related to his crime spree.
Following a thorough prosecution, the jury delivered a guilty verdict on charges of second-degree murder with a firearm and carjacking with a firearm.
The West Palm Beach Police Department thanks all officers, detectives, and prosecutors involved in bringing justice to the victims and their families.
