West Palm Beach Police and Riviera Beach Police Arrest Two, Recover Vehicle Stolen During Carjacking
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (March 25, 2025) – The West Palm Beach Police Department, with support from the Riviera Beach Police Department, recovered a vehicle stolen during an armed carjacking.
The victim was working as an Uber driver when he picked up a passenger along the 5600 block of Caribbean Blvd. around 11:20 p.m. on Monday, March 24. Once the passenger entered the vehicle, he put a long gun to the victim's neck and yelled at the victim to exit the vehicle.
The West Palm Beach Police Department issued a BOLO to the Riviera Beach Police Department for the stolen vehicle. License Plate Recognition picked up the vehicle, and the Riviera Beach Police Department followed the vehicle to West Palm Beach. With both agencies in pursuit, the stolen vehicle eventually stopped at the Evergreen Cemetery along the 2700 block of Rosemary Ave., and two juvenile suspects fled from the vehicle.
With support from West Palm Beach Police and Riviera Beach Police K-9 officers, both juvenile suspects were apprehended and transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center. Officers later recovered two firearms from the stolen vehicle, a BB gun and a handgun.
