Edible Everglades Boardwalk Tour

The wild foods of Florida aren’t just for wildlife! People have dined on an amazing Everglades flowers, leaves, and fruit for thousands of years, and now’s your chance.  Join us on a relaxing, easy-paced hike on our Cypress Boardwalk Trail to discover and sample some of the remarkable plants that our area's original Native American inhabitants used for medicine and food.

Time: 9:30am-10:30am
*Check-in 15 mins before program start time at Nature Center*

Ages: 15+

Cost: FREE, but reservations still required

Come Prepared:  Wear comfortable walking shoes, bring a water bottle, hat, and sun protection.
