The City of West Palm Beach Public Utilities Department is conducting a test of the wastewater collection system. A smoke, harmless to humans, plants and animals, is being introduced into the lines to determine if there are any leaks. The City of West Palm Beach, Office of Small Minority/Women Business Programs in partnership with The Foundation Builders and Sophisticated Out Loud hosted the STEM in the City Forum in observance of National Black Business Month on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2023.

The Lord's Place, one of the City of West Palm Beach's partners in helping those who are experiencing homelessness, now has a new, state-of-the-art headquarters at 2808 North Australian Ave.
Culture can help shape the character of a community. West Palm Beach's ArtLife Public Arts program helps to bring public art that creates local pride and heightens our sense of cultural diversity. West Palm Beach's Café Joshua, run by the non-profit The Lord's Place, provides free hot meals in a restaurant setting for those experiencing homelessness. Preparing those meals is part of a culinary training program that's helping to change lives.
