City Hall, the Mandel Public Library and the Visitors Center at Grassy Waters will be closed Friday, July 4, in observance of our nation's birthday. Trash collections will continue on regular schedules. The Mandel Public Library will re-open Saturday, July 5, at 9:30 a.m., City Hall and Grassy Waters will reopen Monday, July 7 at 8 a.m.Celebrate the holiday extravaganza at 4th on Flagler.
The City of West Palm Beach Public Utilities Department is conducting a test of the wastewater collection system. A smoke, harmless to humans, plants and animals, is being introduced into the lines to determine if there are any leaks. The countdown to the award-winning West Palm Beach GreenMarket's 29th Season has started. The famed GreenMarket will return on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Great Lawn (100 N. Clematis St.). This year's theme, "Here We Grow Again," is a nod to the Market's year-over-year growth and expanded offerings.

During the West Palm Beach's 5th Annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb participants scaled a local high rise five times to remember the first responders and victims who lost their lives during the terrorist attack in 2001.
A special month-long parking promotion aimed at encouraging residents and visitors to enjoy the vibrant downtown dining scene. Starting on Monday, Sept. 11, 2023, and running through Oct. 8, 2023, the City's five parking garages will offer a reduced weekday evening parking rate of only $2 from 5 p.m. to midnight sharp.

As part of his ongoing "Community Conversations" series, Mayor James leads a high-profile roundtable discussion in an effort to address pressing concerns surrounding property insurance in West Palm Beach.
The mental health crisis in our country was at the center of West Palm Beach Mayor Keith A. James' Community Conversations event at the Mandel Public Library. The Roundtable discussion featured federal, county, and municipal leaders as well as health experts and those experiencing issues themselves.
