The City of West Palm Beach Urges Residents to Prepare for the
2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season
With the onset of the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season drawing near, the City of West Palm Beach is reminding residents of the critical importance of readiness in the face of potential storms. While we remain hopeful for a calm season, it is imperative to be fully prepared for any eventuality. The season, spanning from June 1 to Nov. 30, 2024, is when tropical storms and hurricanes are anticipated to form in the Atlantic.

Please join the City of West Palm Beach and Community Redevelopment Agency on Thursday, May 23 at 6 p.m. for the quarterly Pleasant City Community Meeting. The CRA will provide a presentation on the project updates for the Pleasant City community. The meeting will be held in the Pleasant City Community Center.

A West Palm Beach woman has been honored by the Governor as a 'Florida Hero' for her work helping foster children.
