During Monday night's City Commission Meeting, Mayor James proclaimed the week of June 3 through 7, 2024, as Code Enforcement Officers Appreciation Week. Code Enforcement works hard every day to ensure the safety and the quality of our lives here in West Palm Beach.

The City of West Palm Beach Urges Residents to Prepare for the
2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season
With the onset of the 2024 Atlantic hurricane season drawing near, the City of West Palm Beach is reminding residents of the critical importance of readiness in the face of potential storms. While we remain hopeful for a calm season, it is imperative to be fully prepared for any eventuality. The season, spanning from June 1 to Nov. 30, 2024, is when tropical storms and hurricanes are anticipated to form in the Atlantic.

Center For Child Counseling Opens
In Historic Northwest
The Center for Child Counseling, which provides affordable therapy for families, and training for therapists, now has a new location in the Historic Northwest to serve area clients.
Mark your calendar for the 9th Annual Barbecue Brews & Blues on June 29 in Heart & Soul Park in the Historic Northwest District. Enjoy live music, delicious food, and craft beer all while learning about the incredible CRA redevelopment projects in the Heart & Soul of West Palm Beach. We hope to see you there!

The next City Commission meeting will be held on Monday, June 10 at 5 p.m. in City Hall, 401 Clematis Street. Commission meetings are held every other Monday, except for holidays, and the public is encouraged to attend.
