Police Release More Information on Hit-and-Run Car

POLICE RELEASE MORE INFORMATION ON HIT-AND-RUN CAR

West Palm Beach police have determined the type and approximate year of the car that was involved in a deadly hit and run last Saturday night.
Traffic Homicide Unit detectivesare looking for a black, four-door 2016-2018 Nissan Altima with front end and windshield damage. At 7:33 p.m. January 4, a 911 caller saw an unconscious man lying on the sidewalk along the southbound lanes of Broadway. Despite lifesaving efforts by first-arriving officers, the man died at the scene.
The Nissan was southbound on Broadway when it struck the pedestrian, believed to be crossing the street from east to west. Evidence was recovered that aided detectives in determining the tyoe of car involved. The victim, Leroy Abrahams, 65, of West Palm Beach died on the scene despite officers giving him CPR.
