CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH ENGINEERING, PUBLIC WORKS & UTILITY ROAD CLOSURES 

  • 36th Street Sanitary Sewer and Drainage Rehab (through April 2025): Intermittent lane closures with flagging operations for underground work.

  • Georgia Avenue Sanitary Sewer and Stormwater Rehabilitation (through August 2025): Intermittent lane closures for storm and sanitary sewer investigation.

  • Wildermere Drainage Project (through April 2025): Single-lane closure on Wildermere Road between South Olive Avenue and South Dixie Highway.

  • Washington Road (through April 2025): Intermittent Lane closures on Washington Road between Monceaux Road and Edgewood Drive for lighting installation.

  • 7th Street between Palm Beach Lakes and Australian Avenue (April 2025) Intermittent Lane closures to install speed humps.

    • Flagler Drive northbound only - Lakeview Avenue to Fern Street from March 28, 2025, at 6 p.m. to March 31, 2025, at 6 p.m.

  • 15th Annual Downtown West Palm Beach Festival – Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, April 6, 2025 - Note the following road closures will be in place:

    • Road Close: Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 3 a.m.

      • Rosemary Avenue from Fern Street to Okeechobee Boulevard.

    • Road Open: Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 8 p.m.

  • Evening on antique ROW – Saturday, April 5, 2025 - Note the following road closures will be in place:

PRIVATE PROJECT ROAD CLOSURES

  • One Flagler – Monday, March 31st through Friday, April 4, 2025, – Flagler Drive from Lakeview Avenue to Okeechobee Boulevard will be reduced to one lane in each direction

  • 512 Clematis (through May 2025): Sidewalk closure on the southwest corner of Clematis Street & Quadrille Plaza Drive.

  • Olara Boat Dock (through January 2028): All lanes are currently open.

  • Flagler Forte (through May 2025):

  • PBAU (through March 2025): No road closures. Sidewalk closure along the frontage of the project.

  • South Flagler House (through December 2026):

  • The District (through fall 2026):

  • The Spruce (through early 2026):

    • No road closures at this time.

    • Sidewalk closure along the project frontage.

  • NORA (through spring 2025) - Hard closure on North Railroad Avenue between 7th and 11th Streets for utility installation.

  • NORA Hotel (through fall 2026) – No closures are currently in place.

  • NYU (through December 2025) – Eastbound Datura Street between South Dixie Highway and South Olive Avenue closed Monday – Friday during the duration of the project.

  • CityPlace East/West Towers (through summer 2025): Hard closure on Gardenia Street between Rosemary Avenue & Quadrille Boulevard.

  • 719 Sapodilla Avenue – Southbound Sapodilla Avenue will be closed periodically the week of March 24th for milling, resurfacing, and concrete work.

  • 115 S Olive Avenue (summer 2025): Sidewalk closures between Datura Street and Clematis Street on South Olive Avenue.

  • BJ’s (April 2025): Hard closure - Right turn lane heading southbound on Executive Center Drive closed for sitework restoration.

  • Car Wash (April 2025) : hard closure Right turn lane heading southbound on Executive Center Drive closed for sitework restoration.

  • Alba (Spring 2027): No road closures at the moment.

  • West Palm Pointe (Spring 2028): No road closures at this time.

  • 230 Clematis St AC Replacement: Full Road Closure, Olive Avenue between Clematis and Datura, Thursday April 3, 2025 from 3AM to 6AM for AC Installation

FRANCHISE UTILITY ROAD CLOSURES

  • FPL – Hard closure on 3rd Street between Sapodilla Avenue & Quadrille Boulevard until further notice.

  • Crown Castle - March 31st to April 4, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. -Intermittent lane closure on Parker Avenue between Okeechobee Boulevard and Okeechobee Road.

  • Crown Castle – March 31st to April 04, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.- Intermittent lane closure also on Okeechobee Road between Parker Avenue and Wilkins Avenue.

  • Crown Castle – March 31st to April 4, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. - Intermittent lane closure on Wilkins Avenue between Okeechobee Road and Roebuck Court.

  • FPL - April 3rd and April 4, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. - Road closure on South Olive Avenue between Vallette Way to Wildermere Road.

PALM BEACH COUNTY ENGINEERING & PUBLIC WORKS ROAD CLOSURES IN THE CITY

  • Georgia Avenue from Belvedere Road to Avon Road: Intersection improvements. Georgia Avenue from Belvedere Road to Avon Road is closed from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.. Periodic eastbound left turn lane closure and westbound right lane closures. Traffic will be detoured via Belvedere Road, Parker Avenue, Avon Road and Florida Avenue.

  • Georgia Avenue from Belvedere Road North of Gotham Court: Intersection improvements. Georgia Avenue from Belvedere Road to north of Gotham Court is closed from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Periodic eastbound right lane closure and westbound left turn lane closure. Traffic will be detoured via Parker Avenue.

FLORIDA DEPT. OF TRANSPORTATION (FDOT) ROAD CLOSURES IN THE CITY OF WPB 

State Road (SR) 710/Beeline Highway Reconstruction Project (through late 2029)

  • Project Limits: 3.142-mile project in the cities of Palm Beach Gardens, Riviera Beach and West Palm Beach began on March 18, 2024.

  • Improvements consist of widening SR 710/Beeline Highway from Northlake Boulevard to SR 708/Blue Heron Boulevard from 4 lanes to 6 lanes, replacing and widening the Florida’s Turnpike bridge over SR 710/Beeline Highway, constructing an at-grade partial Continuous Flow Intersection (CFI) at the intersection of SR 710/Beeline Highway and Northlake Boulevard, adding sidewalks and bicycle lanes on both sides of SR 710/Beeline Highway, upgrading railroad crossings, drainage, signage, lighting, signalization and pavement markings throughout project limits, and upgrading Intelligent Transportation System (ITS).

  • State Road (SR) 710/Beeline Highway from SR 708/Blue Heron to Northlake Boulevard will have one inside lane closed in each direction, daily, 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

  • SR 710/Beeline Highway and Northlake Boulevard will have one inside lane closed in each direction, daily, 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

  • SR 710/Beeline Highway and Jog Road will have one inside lane closed in each direction, daily, 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

  • SR 710/Beeline Highway and Haverhill Road will have one inside lane closed in each direction, daily, 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

  • SR 710/Beeline Highway from Military Trail to Blue Heron Boulevard will have one lane closed in each direction, daily, 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

  • SR 710/Beeline Highway lane widths are reduced and westbound traffic has been shifted to the median from just east of the Florida Turnpike to Blue Heron Boulevard to safely facilitate construction activities.

  • The SR 710/Beeline Highway northwest ramp to eastbound Northlake Boulevard has been temporarily closed to safely facilitate this phase of construction and is anticipated to reopen in fall 2025. During this closure, motorists can continue on SR 710/Beeline Highway and turn right at the light to access eastbound Northlake Boulevard.

    Northshore Bridge Improvements Project (spring 2025)

  • Project Limits: This 0.07-mile project on North Shore Drive over the Carver Canal in the City of West Palm Beach began August 26, 2024.

  • The work includes construction of a prefabricated steel pedestrian bridge on the west side of North Shore Drive crossing the Carver Canal, realignment of the pedestrian sidewalk path on the west side of North Shore Bridge to the new pedestrian bridge, reconstruction of drainage outfalls along the north and south sides of the newly constructed pedestrian bridge, replacement and upgrading signage impacted by construction, and adding lighting at each side of the new pedestrian bridge.

  • The southbound lane of North Shore Drive will be intermittently closed from Monday through Friday for material delivery and drainage installation operations. Flaggers will be on-site to assist motorists, and pedestrian detours will be in place.

    Intersection Lighting Retrofit Improvements Project

  • Project Limits: This lighting improvements project at 22 different intersections within cities in Palm Beach, Martin, and St. Lucie Counties began in December 2024. Improvements include creating a safer, more energy-efficient, and resilient transportation environment by upgrading lighting to LED fixtures and retrofitting existing light poles.

  • SR 882/Forest Hill Boulevard from Jog Road to SR 805/Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach will have intermittent single-lane closures from 6:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m., excluding peak hours and school speed zone hours, Tuesday through Friday, for lighting fixture replacement activities.

  CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH DOCKS

  • Currie Park Boat Docks and Ramps (2400 North Flagler Drive): Ramps are open daily, from sunrise to sunset.

  • Lake Mangonia Park Boat Ramps (2957 North Australian Avenue): Ramps are open daily, from sunrise to sunset. 

  • Clematis Street Docks (South Clematis Street at South Flagler Drive): Docks are open daily, from 5 a.m. until midnight. Dock will be closed through March 31, 2025.

  • Fern Street Dock (Fern Street at South Flagler Drive): The dock is open daily from 5 a.m. until midnight. No overnight dockage is allowed for boats, dinghies, or kayaks. The Fern Dock is also the home of a West Palm Beach Marine Patrol Boat and the West Palm Beach Fire and Rescue Boat. Dock will be closed through March 31, 2025.
