A Message to the City of West Palm Beach
Anticipated federal budget cuts threaten vital services in West Palm Beach — from firefighter staffing and affordable housing to after-school care and library programs. These cuts impact real families and neighborhoods.
We are taking action to protect what we’ve built and continue moving our city forward.

Youth Climate Action Fund | Graduation July 2025
"An initiative of Bloomberg Philanthropies, the City of West Palm Beach is one of only 100 cities worldwide chosen to participate in the Youth Climate Action Fund — which means that our Youth Climate Action Fund grantees are part of a truly exclusive group of young leaders who are making a meaningful impact in our community.
This initiative is designed to empower young innovators to develop creative climate solutions and spark grassroots excitement around this critical cause — and I could not be more proud of our grantees. Thank you for your dedication and creativity.
I would also like to extend a special thank you to the Philanthropy Tank and the Community Foundation for their partnership. Projects like this are only possible when a community comes together, and your collaboration is invaluable." — Mayor Keith A. James

MyBambu Expansion
"This week, we celebrated the incredible growth of MyBambu by officially welcoming them to their expanded headquarters right here in West Palm Beach. Thank you to Kelly Smallridge and the Business Development Board for bringing us all together and for your continued leadership in championing innovation and economic opportunity across Palm Beach County.
In just five short years, MyBambu has outgrown its original West Palm Beach facility and moved into a beautiful, state-of-the-art headquarters — more than tripling its footprint.
This kind of success speaks volumes — not only about the strength of MyBambu as a company but also about the strength of West Palm Beach as a destination for innovative, forward-thinking businesses to grow and thrive.
What truly sets this company apart is its mission of inclusivity — using cutting-edge technology to provide financial services to a large Hispanic community. That mission aligns perfectly with our City’s vision of being a Community of Opportunity for All, where every resident and business has access to the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed.
On behalf of the City of West Palm Beach, I want to congratulate the entire MyBambu leadership team and staff. Thank you for your continued commitment to this City and for choosing to grow your business — and your impact — right here with us. We look forward to seeing your next chapter of success." — Mayor Keith A. James
