Robert Ross is a powerhouse blues vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist, celebrated for his fiery slide guitar work and soulful, story-driven performances. A two-time New York Music Award winner and 2011 inductee into the New York Blues Hall of Fame, Ross has shared stages with legends like Lightnin’ Hopkins, Big Mama Thornton, Dr. John, and even jammed with Muddy Waters, Jimi Hendrix, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. His band delivers a high-energy mix of blues, boogie, soul, and rock ’n’ roll, earning praise from Guitar World and The New York Daily News, with Jimmy Page famously calling the group “HOT!”

Ross’s discography spans over four decades, with critically acclaimed albums like Rockin’ the Rails, Sleight of Hand, and What Are We Fighting For? showcasing both political edge and musical versatility. His songwriting chops were spotlighted when Johnny Winter recorded Ross’s “Sittin’ in the Jailhouse” for Columbia Records.
